To round out support to our customers, EPS also performs plant operation. Both Dwight and Zac are licensed Class 3 plant operators and are certified to handle all day-to-day needs a treatment plant may require. They take care of the process control; do regulatory reporting to make sure they are keeping the plant up to ADEQ standards, maintenance on the plant and upkeep as needed, and general plant oversight.
Many times plant renovations must be done while basins are full. Not all systems have enough redundancy to allow them to drain and expose components. To accomplish this, EPS has 2 certified divers for “black water” application. This allows them to troubleshoot mechanical problems and many times make the necessary repairs while submerged. These divers are certified and trained to do this diving and enjoy the challenge of working in the unknown areas of wastewater.
Over time, all plants go through its share of wear and tear. Exposure to the elements, harsh conditions, corrosive chemicals and time takes its toll. Even with the best preventative maintenance programs, hardware must be repaired and sometimes even replaced. The knowledge of process components and how they work toward making the plant meet their discharge limits, gives EPS a unique advantage on how to structure a timetable for plant work. We routinely perform 'live' renovations while the plant is in full operational mode. Our certified black water divers can make evaluations and repairs underwater on many mechanical components eliminating the need to dewater the systems.
Our relationships with equipment manufactures across the industry allow us to get the best hardware for the best price with the best delivery time available. Give us a call to see how fast we and solve your problems.
EPS has worked on a number of new projects and has experience and knowledge in the different processes to treating water and wastewater. They are equipped to build new water or wastewater treatment plants also known as “grass root plants”. EPS can also build the different components that make up a water or wastewater plant such as new tanks, clarifiers, screens, UV Systems, Chlorine Systems, and Aeration Systems.
